We are excited to welcome all families back for Term 2, a season full of joy and celebration in Religious Education. As we continue to journey through the Easter season, students will deepen their understanding of Jesus’ resurrection and what it means for us today. This term, we look forward to reverent participation in our school liturgies that will acknowledge and celebrate The Ascension of the Lord and Pentecost, where students will reflect on the themes of hope, renewal, and faith. This week, we took time to honour the special women in our lives as we celebrate Mother’s Day with gratitude and prayer. It was wonderful to have many families join us for this very special occasion. There are many ways we can bring faith into our homes and in this week's newsletter there is an invitation to Bishop Brian’s virtual reading of The Parable of the Lost Sheep. Registration details, dates, and timing can be found on the flyer within. In global Church news, we share in the excitement of Pope Leo XIV’s recent selection and invite students and families to learn more about the process of becoming Pope, his leadership and message of peace. It promises to be a meaningful and faith-filled term ahead!
