School Choir
On Thursday morning our fabulous St Mary’s school choir buckled up on the bus and headed to the Shoalhaven Eisteddfod in Nowra.
Our choir competed in 2 sections, placing 2nd Place in the “Small Schools Primary” section and receiving a Highly Commended in the “Song from a Musical” section. Once again we brought the joy of our little school on the hill to a delighted audience. Our choir did particularly well given that we are the only school choir that doesn’t separate our Infants and Primary students, and our inclusion across the school shines through as we sing. One adjudicator wrote that she “hopes we all continue to demonstrate our love of singing together”.
Congratulations to our choir students in such a successful Eisteddfod for 2025!
Our school choir will be singing their Eisteddfod songs at our school assembly next Friday 16 May. Any parents, friends or family who were not able to make the Eisteddfod are more than welcome to come watch a repeat performance in that assembly (2:20pm).
