Year 4 News
It’s been a busy and exciting time in Year 4! We’ve been getting our hands dirty exploring soil types. Students have planted seeds and are observing how soil impacts plant growth. We’re also investigating erosion and how it affects the environment.
In English, we’re hard at work creating information reports about Australian animals, using research skills to organise facts clearly and effectively.
We’ve recently wrapped up our data unit in Maths, where students surveyed other classes and presented their findings through a column graph. It was great to see real-world maths in action!
We’re now looking forward to our Stage 2 fossil excursion on Wednesday 25 June, a fantastic opportunity to link our science learning with the past.
