Last week the Year 6 Social Justice Leaders, Jerry N, Ruby F, Jay B, Maddie G were invited for a tour around the Safe Water accommodation in Ulladulla for Homelessness Week. 

It was great to see how comfortable the volunteers have made the space for everyone who needs support and short term accommodation. There were even games for kids to play in the backyard. 

We decided to raise money and organised a Lip Sync Competition at St Mary’s and invited Jody from Safe Waters to come along. 

We judged the performances (which were really entertaining) and the winners were

First Place: Chloe M, Max M and Aleia D with their Pokemon Theme song.

Second Place: Fleur C and Jemima C

Third Place: Audrey W

All of the winners have received Canteen vouchers.

Our little school raised $300 for Safe Waters.
