Principal's Report
Dear Parents and Carers,
Next week, we want to take a moment to celebrate all the wonderful fathers and father figures in our lives. A father isn't just someone who helps raise us; it's anyone who shows us what it means to be loving, strong, and kind. This might be a dad, a grandad, an uncle, a big brother, or even a close family friend. In our Catholic faith, we see God as our ultimate Father. He is a source of unconditional love, guidance, and comfort. Just as God the Father cares for all of us, the father figures in our lives teach us important lessons and support us as we grow.
It is so important for children to have the benefit of adults who surround them with love and guide them into the values of their family. Father figures do this through words and actions; all the special things they do for and with their children: they read stories, play games, teach us how to learn new skills, and offer a listening ear. They are a blessing to us all, we wish all the fathers and father figures a special Father's Day. Let's remember to show our gratitude every day. A simple "thank you" or a big hug is the best gift.
We welcome Father Michael, back from his pilgrimage in Europe over the past few months. What a fitting time to have him return during the week of Father’s Day. Please join us next Thursday for our Father's Day Breakfast and Liturgy.
I look forward to seeing you in our school next week.
