Kindergarten Excursion to The Woods Farm

Last Wednesday, Kindergarten enjoyed a wonderful excursion to The Woods Farm to meet some of the resident animals. The excitement began on the bus ride, especially for many students who were travelling on a bus for the very first time!

When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Farmer Alan, who introduced us to a variety of animals. The children had the opportunity to feed chickens, goats, cows, ponies, and even Jill the camel!

We shared a picnic-style morning tea and lunch, followed by lots of fun in the playground. This excursion tied in beautifully with our current learning about what animals need to survive. Students were able to see firsthand what the animals eat, where they live, and how they access water.

It was a joyful day of learning and discovery for everyone!
