It’s been a busy and exciting start to Term 4 in Year 4! In Science, we’ve been exploring Australian eucalyptus trees and the amazing processes that help plants grow and thrive.

During our Literacy block, students are building fluency and confidence through daily word Sprints and reading challenges, seeing how many words they can read in one minute and loving the friendly competition!

In Maths, we’re extending our understanding of key concepts focusing on problem-solving, reasoning, and number fluency. In Religion, our focus is on prayer and advent, as we begin to reflect on the meaning of Christmas and the season of preparation.

We’re also having a blast in sport and earning exciting rewards through our new Classopoly reward system. Positive choices are being celebrated every day! It’s shaping up to be a wonderful final term of the year for our amazing Year 4 students.
