Tuesday lunchtimes have become a hub of excitement with the start of our Science Club recently! The club is open to all students of all ages and so far we have enjoyed a great sharing of knowledge and skills between age groups.
In the last few weeks students in the science club have searched for bugs in the garden, used magnifying glasses to look closely at leaves, sketching them in detail, learned about the structure of leaves in our playground, spent a very windy day racing against the wind learning about resistance (and talking about how some Olympic race records don’t count if the runners are helped too much by a windy day!), researching how wind is made, and how it is useful for things like sail boats.

We look forward to many more engaging adventures together.
