On Sunday June 5 our Year 6 Confirmation candidates were blessed with the sacrament of Confirmation at Holy Family Church in Ulladulla. This was a very joyous occasion and we were so lucky to have our Mass con-celebrated by Fr Michael and Bishop Brian on the feast of Pentecost. Confirmation is one of the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church. It is one of the three sacraments of Initiation.

By the laying on of hands, and the anointing with the holy oil of Chrism, the sacrament of Confirmation enriches the Church with the gift of the Holy Spirit and seals Baptism. Together with the Eucharist, it brings the baptised fully into the Church.
