Kindergarten spent time this week working with clay. Their task was to make a small water vessel representative of a bathing bowl, similar to what Jesus would have used when he washed his disciples' feet. Clay is creative, forgiving and therapeutic; it brings great joy and teaches us a lot about ourselves. Kindergarten was thoroughly engaged in the challenge of reshaping and transforming the earth with their hands to create something of great beauty and significance. What a magnificent job they did.
